To me this is what a warrior is all about. You have to follow hard after Jesus. To follow Him and how He leads, is the essence of a true Christian. In the book of Job, Job says "Yet though He slay me, still I will trust Him." Follow the Word of God and His Spirit. Let the Holy Spirit lead you. Begin to focus on what the Lord has done for you. Begin to give thanks every day for what you do have. If we can give thanks in the depths of our circumstances, then this is the victory. Find the victory in the midst of your situation Peggy, its not about your circumstances, or even being delivered from them, its about being able to find peace despite our circumstances. In the famous psalm 23, we are told that God prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies. I will pray that you will find this place.....Frank Hi Peggy. I feel like my life is at a standstill. I havent seen or spoken to my estranged husband in over two years. He is getting my older children to try and convince me to come back to the reservation in ny. I cant trust him and I cant put myself in the position of being on his land in his reserve where i have no legal rights. He did horrible things to us such as abuse of my daughter who is his step child. he never told the truth or tried to make things right.. We are still legally married. Neither of us has made a move to do anything. Its me and my youngest child alone here in ky. I resent the fact that i have to suffer not being with the other kids who are on the rez. Jesse and me both have serious health issues. I dont know what to do. I want to hear from Jesus. Do I just stand still and see the salvation of the Lord? I was no innocent. After my husband committed adultery and beat my daughter and later raped her--I did wrong but felt justified. i know two wrongs dont make a right. If I file divorce-I will once again have to fight with the Tuscarora nation. I am tired of it all.Its a tangled web. I surrendered my life back over to Jesus and yet I feel like there is unfinished business. Your site is helping me a lot. Jesse and I need prayer and direction.
