If I am a son of God, nothing but God will satisfy my
soul; no amount of comfort, no amount of ease, no amount of
pleasure, will give me peace or rest. If I had the full cup of
all the world's joys held up to me, and could drain it to the
dregs, I should still remain thirsty if I had not God.

The joy of the Lord is our strength, He is our very High Tower, the righteous run into it and they are saved. I say to all those oppressed, run to your High tower, a very present help in times of need. God bless you brother...........Frank

Greetings in Jesus name. As I write this, I have but skimmed through this post due to a shortage on time. But I have made a copy so that I can read it in detail (probably several times) and then pass it on. I'll also make a link in the page for such postings. If one thing has been on my heart more than any other, it's the need for the saints of God to get "spiritul-in-a-hurry" so to speak. I mean to get close to the Lord Jesus; so close that they find themselves continually in his presence.

There are times when in prayer that the joy of the Lord is overwhelming. It's a time of absolute peace, absolute contentment, and complete bliss. I'm trying to explain something so incredible that the english language simply doesn't offer adequate descriptions. And yet it is real and when the saints get into this place with the Lord Jesus, they'll be ready for anything that the world throws at them. Just as Steven was so fixated on Jesus following his discourse, we'll be so close to the Lord that all in the ambience will notice. A joy that's truly not of this world and not dependant upon a desired set of conditions.

Thanks so much for posting this account. May all who read it be encouraged to get into their secret place and draw close to Jesus.

Blessings always in Jesus name.
