He is our "exceeding great reward, Him and Him alone. We can do nothing outside of His presence. We need the cloud by day and the fire by night. I had a vision nearly ten years ago now of America which is similar. I saw a small country church with a little steeple and I saw glory pour down from Heaven and enter through the top of that little country Church. The LORD revealed to me that a small gathering of faithful Believers had been praying faithfully for revival! This glory poured out the front door and it went into another building and other buildings pouring out of them through front and sometimes side doors and going all across the Easter part of the US. I only remember seeing two large Churches on the whole of the Eastern States have that glory come into there! I was so surprised! It was the little church buildings and the gatherings that met in the industrial park type buildings and even, I believe, home groups that had the glory pour into them! It was beautiful to see the glory flow from one building to another. As I viewed this from above, it looked like little freeways of glory all networking together! One of the speakers was Carter Conlon from Times Square Church in New York, David Wilkerson's church. He felt the Lord lead him to come back and so an outreach was arranged. Well, people at Times Square church were so moved that he ended up coming over with 230 from the church. 60 of them were from the choir. Greenock was invaded by Christians from America. They went into the prisons and the local old folks homes and the public high schools, in fact, Port Glasgow High school called a general assembly where the Gospel was presented to the whole school. I have moved to Scotland to marry my goodwife Susan, to whom the Lord indeed led me. We have now our first-born son Elliot, whose name is the English version of Elijah, which means YHWH is God. He is destined to follow his father (me) in this moving of God's Spirit here. The church we attend in Edinburgh is awakening, the pastor has the heart of the Bride. I pray daily for true Revival in a dry and thirsty land. This land was once home to great movings of God's Spirit, and I know that it will be once again. This message resonates within me. There are no secrets brother, God has revealed all in Jesus and through His Holy Word and desires that all would "know ," Him and His word. He is no respector of persons and the invitation to His Holy chambers is for all. Sadly, many are called to the narrow path but most find the broad road. We cannot enter into His chambers, the throne room, without entering into His sufferings. In dying we discover life, in dying to this world we discover the true world of His presence. One moment in this presence is the Holy grail. Can I encourage you that you will not have to travel accross this world to find all of Him. Right now, right where you are, that is the place. The journey into the heart of God is a journey of the spirit and it is but a mere moment in time, one step, so to speak, from the soulish realms into the presence of God. Currently I’m a student of the University of Otago which is in Dunedin. I study Scottish/Irish history this year. "the glory of the Lord descending, yet arising." The glory of the Lord descending will indeed be a "terrible," day in the Church. The day that He does business with His lukewarm children. Yet, as we embrace the Doctor who cuts out the cancer and gives us life, may the Church of the Living God fully embrace the giver of life as he cuts of their right arms that they may go into heaven maimed and not to hell with all their limbs. And as we embrace the giver of life, may the glory of the Lord arise for all the world to see that He is glorious in His majesty, and His peace that surpasses all understanding is a treasure beyond measure and His presence is the fulfilment of all that we were created to be.
